The Friends of the Roslyn Library are selling patio pavers to raise money for the Building Renovation Project. Community supporters may purchase a paver for $100 and have it inscribed with their name or the name of a loved one. The pavers will be used in the new patio area on the side of the building.  All donations to the Friends of the Roslyn Library are tax-deductible.

Seussapalooza doorprize winner

Friends of the Roslyn Library's annual auction fundraiser, "Seussapalooza."

The Friends of the Roslyn Library
An all-volunteer, 501(c)(3), non-profit organization

The Friends of the Roslyn Library was created in 1996 to support and raise money for the Roslyn Library.

Since then, the Friends have raised thousands of dollars with which they have funded...

  • Books and other collection materials;
  • Reading and literacy programs for children
  • Computer hardware and software;
  • Cultural programs for adults;
  • Furniture and signage;
  • Safety and media equipment;
  • Assistance with continuing education for the Librarian, library board members and Friends' board members; and
  • Matching funds for children's book and other grants.

The Friends of the Roslyn Library have developed some great programs, products and events to support the Library, including the Armchair Traveler Series, the annual 4th of July Book Sale, the Roslyn Dog Calendar and Seussapalooza, a chili feed and silent auction featuring quirky entertainment, which is the group's newest and biggest fundraiser.

The energy and dedication of these community volunteers ensure that each year fresh and exciting ways to support and enhance the Roslyn Library are realized.
